Verbeek 1874 A digital version of the hard-to-find 1874 paper in which Nummulites pengaronensis and N. sub-brogniarti were described. (Verbeek, R.D.M., 1874. De Nummulieten uit den Eoceenen kalksteen van Borneo. Jaarboek van het Mijnwezen, Ned. Oost Indie, 133-161, 2 plates; File about 2.8 MB in size). This version has low resolution text but medium resolution figures. The original definition was published in 1871 in German, but the figures are the same in this Dutch language version.
Verbeek 1874 A compilation of the figures of fossils in Verbeek and Fennema 1896. A useful collection of what the old (original) species concepts and names were. For example, all Discocylinids are given their old name of "Orthophragmina".
Mohler 1946. The first field guide that took the ideas of the Letter Stages and, as simply as possible, enabled field geologists to date the rocks they were mapping.
